- The Autism Society is ready to paint the town blue! Join us on Saturday, February
18, at O2 Joe's Tap House on 135 Ave and 127 St, from 1 to 5 pm, for the finest home-
brewed blues music in the city. Come out to see the ever popular, and truly talented,
Carson Cole, Edmonton's newest, the Brendan Kelly Band, and seasoned pros, the
Wiremen. Admission is free, but tickets are required for the door prizes.
There will be two door prizes drawn throughout the afternoon, one $50 gift card,
and a grand prize of two tickets for row 2 at the Edmonton Oilers hockey game against
Philadelphia, on February 23. These tickets will include one-night stay at the Courtyard
by Marriott Edmonton West Hotel on 100 Ave and 184 St., as well as dinner and
breakfast for 2!
The ASEA was founded in 1971 by parents and professionals who wanted to
educate children with autism in their home communities rather than sending them off to
institutions. With the number of children diagnosed with autism skyrocketing, the ASEA,
through programs and services helps families and communities support and embrace
people on the autism spectrum throughout their lives.
So join us for an afternoon of delicious food, cold beer, and rocking music, as we
support young adults with autism. Together we can paint this whole city.
